An art gallery or art museum is a space for exhibition of art, mostly visual art. Even paintings and sculpture are there too. An art gallery is at times used as a location for selling different art pieces. The term art gallery is applicable for both public and private galleries. The former is a medium of displaying permanent art collection of art pieces whereas the latter one enterprises in selling of art pieces. In every art museum there are art rooms used for displaying art for public. These art rooms are termed art galleries.
