Historical Perspective Of Texas Art Gallery:
The Texas art gallery was build in 1964. Since its foundation this art gallery has constantly portrayed acclaimed forms of western, American and European art. Traditionally, the gallery has featured works of both regional and national artists. Works of contemporary emerging artists and works of some prominent artists have also been showcased in the gallery. The gallery’s growing success has been attributed to its close and harmonious relationship with its visitors and clients. Since inception the Texas art gallery has focused on exhibiting quality and value added works by putting regional and national appeal into it.
Texas Art Gallery Collections:
The permanent collection of the gallery features over 40 locally, regionally and internationally emerging as well as prominent artists. The diverse selection of this gallery includes range of western, American and European artworks. The gallery collection includes works of artists such as James Boren, Susan Kliewer, Robert Pummill, Morris Rippel, Richard D. Thomas, Susanne Vertel, Bonita Roberts, Chauncey F. Ryder, and W.R. Plangg.
Texas Art Gallery Present Scenario:
The gallery has organized different special events and programmes. Some of its upcoming events are Patron's Party & Auction to be held on May 11 & 12, 2007, Kent Wallis One Man Show will be hosted on August 17, 2007 and Preview 2008 Party & Auction to be held on November 2 & 3, 2007. Every year the Texas art gallery organizes two annual art auctions, one in the month of May and the other one in November. In the auction seated five-course dinners is also included. Gallery also provides some art services like custom framing and designing. The gallery hours are from 10 am to 6:00 pm from Monday through Saturday.
