One of the oldest and largest art museums in the United States is Indianapolis Art Museum. The museum is home to around fifty thousand works of art. Location of the Museum
Indianapolis Art Museum is located in Indianapolis at the corner of 38th Street and Michigan Road. It is fifteen minutes walk from the center of downtown Indianapolis.
Visiting Time and Holidays
You can visit the museum on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from morning 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. On Sundays, the museum is open from afternoon to 5 p.m. However, generally, it is closed on Mondays and other public holidays like Christmas, New Year and Thanksgiving.
