Image on Canvas

Canvas images are designed specially on a different quality of paper called as inkjet paper. The quality of the photo paper and the pigment based ink system of the paper determines the quality of image on canvas. Canvas images were traditionally printed by using some special type of materials such as Fuji and Cibachrome. For printing monochrome canvas images, traditional silver-based papers are often used. This paper quality provides an added advantage of retaining over inkjet prints.

Canvas Image Paper:

Usually some professional photographers produce images on canvas papers. The process of printing employed for the production of image on canvas is often superior to the normal digital print onto canvas. The UV resistant inks and real material canvas used on photo canvas ensure the highest quality of finish, combined with real durability.

The canvas photo papers are usually divided into three types glossy, matte and semi matte types. The volume of thickness of a canvas photo paper widely varies. The canvas image papers with light weight are considered least expensive and are of lowest quality. Hence the produced images on canvas of such types are not of very high quality. Thick photo papers with advanced coatings are used for producing more critical and quality photos. Some images appear very glossy and smooth the reason behind this is the quality of paper used for printing such image on canvas. Such photos have high glaring effect. The canvas images p[produced on such papers are of high quality. The color densities of a glossy image on canvas are very high and good quality.

To produce image on canvas one special paper type is often used called as photo paper. Photo papers are usually high-brightness neutral white papers, but a few off-white papers are also produced.
