Though cartoons have been used variously at different occasions the basic purpose of cartoons is to provide a proper entertainment to little children. Cartoons have also been used for bringing satire and irony by means of political and editorial cartoons but kids cartoons do not fall under this limit they are solely created for child entertainment in a very casual and light manner but if possible cartoonists utilize the medium in providing some basic social education necessary for children. Many kids' cartoons have been created from time to time only few are discussed below: Justice League is an animated kids cartoon series. This Kids cartoon series is about a superhero team which ran from 2001 to 2004 on cartoon network. Each episode of Justice League was 18 minutes long. Justice League was renamed as Justice League Unlimited. There were total 91 episodes in this kids cartoon. Mindgrabber Kid: The Mindgrabber Kid, Lucian Crawley is a fictional superhero Kids cartoon character in the DC Universe. Mindgrabber Kid was created by Dennis O'Neil and Dick Dillin this kids cartoon first shown in Justice League of America. Aquaman: Aquaman is a fictional animated kids cartoon series released on 14th September 1968. This was half an hour version of the superman and was titled as Aquaman Hour of Adventure. Pat Dugan: Pat Dugan is a fictional kids cartoon character. Pat Dugan became famous for being the only adult sidekick to a teenage superhero, Sylvester Pemberton, the Star-Spangled Kid. Kid Amazo: Kid Amazo is a fictional kids cartoon character of the DC Comics, of Amazo. Tom and Jerry: Tom and Jerry is a famous kids cartoon series. It is an Academy Award-winning cartoon series and became very famous. This kids cartoon revolves around the story of an animated cat Tom, and mouse Jerry. It was written and directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. Just in little time this entire cartoon series became so popular that owing to its demand about one hundred and fourteen Tom and Jerry cartoons were produced by the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. The entire story revolves around two fictional characters which is highly fascinating to little children. |
