Watercolor painting is a technique in which paints made of colorants are suspended or dissolved in water. It is usually done on paper or canvas. Many famous painters have

Dj Eastwood discovered her painting passion after attending a local Adult Education facility about 8 years ago. Since then she is completely addicted to watercolor painting and all its aspects. She has taken classes along with Tony Couch, Paul George, Arleta Pech, Maddie Lou Chaplin and Charlene Lee. Her painting studio is located just behind her house, in the woods, so that she could hear the chirping of birds, the breeze and her thoughts and ideas. She feels that “painting is an ever on-going process of studying and practice”.
Dj Eastwood is an active member of organizations like Maine Women in the Arts, Maine Arts Commission, Made in Maine, Maine coast Artist's Association and others. She uses very rich colors in her paintings and green is the most widely used color in most of her paintings.
Dj Eastwood has participated in various art exhibitions in Prout's Neck, Gorham, Portland and South Portland in Maine. Her upcoming exhibitions will be held in the month of May and July at Kennebunkport and Prout's Neck in Maine.
