Fatima El Baz was born in Morocco, North Africa. The beginning of her life was spent in complete disturbance moving on two different continents of Uganda, Germany and Kenya. She is a lady of different cultural backgrounds which is clearly visible in her paintings. Fatima never attended any formal art institute, she never studied about art. She is a self-taught artist who basically works in acrylics. Her abstract art style reflects her thoughts and imaginations of life. At present Fatima lives with her children and husband in a small village of Leicestershire. Fatima's paintings are based on varied themes like volcanoes and sea creatures.
