Iona Ezaki is a San Jose, California based artist of landscapes, still life and portraits in oil. Painting around the Bay area of California she does commission work in Landscapes and Portraits.
Ezaki was privately tutored by famous landscape painter Stephan Baumann of The Grand View PBS television series. She has also worked for Thomas Kinkade of ‘The painter of Light' fame. Apart from oil colors she wields her brush with watercolors and acrylic Nature and landscape has always allured her since she feels that there is beauty and rhythm in nature. Her passion for fine and great art is represented in the bright and vivid canvas. She paints anything that's beautiful and catches her eye. For the summer of 2005 she had been commissioned for seven oil paintings for a poetry book on three national parks, Yosemite, Yellowstone and Grand Canyon titled ‘ Parks portrayed in Pen And Paint '. Some of her new paintings are titled Half Moon Bay, Yellowstone River, Gondala's in Venice Italy, Yosemite in the fall and Two Roses in Bloom.
