Saadi Abbas Babely popularly called as Saadi Babely was born in Babylon, Iraq. Saadi Babely was highly educated he was a Ph .D in painting and graphic designing. Saadi Babely had an artistic lifestyle. He was the formal secretary general of artist's society of Iraq. Saadi Babely was also a researcher and writer of art philosophy. His self written articles on art used to publish in the international newspaper ‘Azzaman' of London. From 1984 to 1998 Saadi Babely remained in the Baghdad University as a professor of art. He was the head of design dept for higher studies in design. He also acted as the sole adviser for thesis regarding Master of Fine Arts and Ph D dissertations. From 1986 to 1997 Saadi Babely was also a chairman of design dept for developing programs. From 2001 to 2003 Saadi Babely remained as a lecturer at Hartford public school for art and media.

Saadi Babely earned many awards for his highly skilled works in poster design in 1979 and 1980. Construction design again in 1980. He got the Museum award in 2001.Nowadays Saadi Babely is doing his project work living in his own studio at Hartford north east of USA.
